Hi everyone! I apologize for not keeping my blog up to date. I will try to do better. . . .

I am still at the University of Cincinnati. I am the director of an online Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Educator program. We offer specialties in critical care (of course), gerontology, and adult health. If you would like information about the program, email me at robin.dennison@uc.edu and I’ll send you information. Unfortunately, my full-time teaching position does not allow me as much time as I used to have for travel and teaching CE programs and CCRN reviews. I do currently have reviews scheduled in Augusta, GA (2/19-20/09), Omaha, NE (5/21-22/09), and Ft Worth, TX (8/11-12/09). Those programs are sponsored and marketed by local groups so you need to contact them for information about registration. If you click on the date of the program on my calendar, a box will open with the contact person, phone, and email. Contact that person for information. If your hospital, AACN chapter, or other group would like to schedule me to teach a CCRN review (or other CE topic), email me at robin@robindennison.com 

I will be doing a one day program on Critical Care Pharmacology on March 8. It is a pre-conference associated with the Midwest Conference sponsored by the Northwest Chicago Chapter of AACN.

I will be doing a session at NTI in New Orleans in May on Preparing and Performing on the CCRN examination. I hope to see you there! 

I am working on Pass CEN! to be published by Elsevier next year. I have two co-authors for this book – Jill Johnson and Meg Blair.

Since I am now a full-time professor at the University of Cincinnati, I do not have as much time available to teach CCRN reviews but I do schedule them during Christmas break (I do have some December dates available since), spring break, and during summer break. My summer break is from mid-June until mid-September so email me if your hospital or local AACN chapter would like to sponsor a CCRN review course next summer.

After I finished my doctorate a couple of years ago, I took a faculty position at the University of Cincinnati. Unfortunately, that means that I have less time available to teach continuing education programs. We are on a quarter system so I am really busy with my full-time job at UC from the end of September until the beginning of June. I still do some programs during school terms but they have to be on Thursday and Friday and I don’t do more than 1 or 2/month. Email me if your hospital or AACN chapter wants to sponsor a program and we can probably work out dates.
